Little Red !

I bought the red work panel and some of the fabric from Sandy Klop while I was in California. It is designed to be a block from a larger quilt but I adapted it to make a little red and white flag waving American Jane quilt!
It is cot or wall sized I do not know know where it is going to end up yet but it is my first quilt finish since my holidays. I have finished the Dresden quilt top for Susan but I am waiting on a backing fabric from Hancocks of Paducah to arrive so I can quilt it .
In the meantime I have started another quilt top a scrap basket quilt from a kit I purchased from Sandy a few weeks back. It is going up fine so far I would love to get the top finished and the Dresden quilted before the 7th August as I am off to the UK then for three weeks to see my wonderful grandchildren and children!

It's beautiful! There's something stunning about simple one-coloured quilts, the design really stands out. Love the little redwork girl in the centre, the whole quilt is wonderful!
Hope you get everything done by your holiday in the UK. Are you off to the Festival of Quilts whilst you're over here visiting your family Liv? I bet you will be!
